This book is deliciously, sugary sweet! This little kangaroo just can’t get enough sweets and she finds the most creative ways to sneak them without Mommy Kangaroo finding out! Of course, you can still have a sweet tooth... just in moderation! The illustrations in this book are absolutely adorable. Loved this story so much on Kindle that we bought the printed version as well. I took the opportunity to talk to my children about cavities and overall dental health after reading about Cami Kangaroo & her love of sweets! We colored teeth and did an activity that other parents or teachers could easily do with their kids too! Such a cute, fun, and educational book to not only practice sweets in moderation, good dental hygiene, but also to obey parents as well.

What a delightful book! From the moment you open the book-- the inside flap even--you start to smile. It's a happy story with a great message. The illustrations are fantastic--the illustrator captured the facial expressions perfectly! We laughed right out loud at the funny, "whoops-I'm-caught" face Cami makes. Cami is adorable, spunky, and crafty. She's a very relatable character for any young reader. The message was clear and meaningful--yet delivered in a fun and comical way. I give it 2 thumbs up! (Or in Amazon's case...5 stars!)

This is a book that will appeal to a wide group of children. . The illustrations are absolutely adorable and clever. The title says it all. Cami Kangaroo has too many sweets! Will the treats catch up to Cami? Where is she getting them? What happens at the dentist? The story is fun and relevant. I love gifting books, especially when I can pair a book with a toy. This story reminds me of when I caught my daughter sneaking treats and it would've been great to have a book like this to read her then. Kids need to know they are not alone in their sugar addiction and that they can make a change. Cute story with cute illustrations.

These are the things my kids said after the read.4 year old, "That was awesome! Let's read it again! Again, again, more kangaroo! "7 year old, "Are there any other Cami Kangaroo books?" Also, "Let's read it again! "It's always high praise for my kids to want to immediately read a book again!

Bought this for our “Cami” who is only 6 months old (it’s never too early to start reading, right?!) but as I read the story I realized I didn’t want to read this book to my 4.5 year old son either. I get that the story is trying to teach you NOT to eat sweets - but it introduces a notion to young minds to go be sneaky, *lock yourself in a room* and eat treats that aren’t good for you. Luckily (for me) my 4.5 year old hasn’t learned how to be sneaky and deceptive...but if I were to read him this story it is a notion that will be introduced to him - no thanks! However, I must say the illustrations are quite cute!

Wonderfully illustrated story with adorable kangaroo characters. Cute and funny children's book for kids, with a message for reducing sweets.

When I think about my own daughter, this is such a realistic plot line about learning valuable lessons (and how sneaky she can be), so I totally dove right into the book. Both my kids were pointing to each of the characters in the illustrations and describing each of the various parts. Everything tied together so nicely. This will soon become a household favorite!
